A Note from Mrs. Torres

Welcome!

Our students at St. Mary-St. Michael School begin their day with listening to daily readings from the Holy Bible. At this young age, the children learn to understand and proclaim the Word of God with the guidance of their teachers.  Each week students in middle school prepare for all the parts of the mass each Friday. 

I am a proud graduate of this wonderful school and have also had the opportunity to send my children here as well. St. Mary-St. Michael School continues to be a place where each child learns and grows each day in a loving and nurturing environment. Here, the teachings of Jesus are embedded in all of our daily actions. Our faculty and staff serve as witnesses of God’s infinite love and mercy to our children each and every day. All students are challenged to work to their fullest potential. The values, morals and importance of giving back are instilled in each of our students. They leave our school prepared to go out into the world as disciples of Jesus. St. Mary-St. Michael School will continue to thrive and provide a catholic education in Derby for many more years to come.
